Last week, when the Rock
River began threatening the Rock County community, The Gladiators did
all they could to help protect it. As darkness encroached on a local sandbagging
effort, the team swatted away river moths and mosquitoes as they sloshed
through over a foot of murky water to stack the saturated bags. Operations
ceased only when there was no sand left to bag and carry. Thanks, team,
for being there for your community, and for channeling the brute force
normally reserved for oppenents into such a good cause!
Janesville Gazette
Due to complications of scheduling, there was no championship game in the N.I.F.L. The Rock County Gladiators were crowned regular season champs with an undefeated regular season record of 11-0. The Gladiators outscored their opponents 395 - 108. We are happy to say we are N.I.F.L. champions in our first year of playing semi-pro football. We are also happy to announce that with our record, the Minor League Football News has ranked the Gladiators at #13 in the nation in class 1AA. This is a great accomplishment for us!
